Jaza Energy is seeking a Site Validator to assess potential locations for solar hub projects in rural and remote communities in Oyo, Nigeria.

• 1–2 years of experience in fieldwork or site evaluation
• Knowledge of rural or remote community needs, especially regarding energy access challenges
• Skills in data collection, data analysis, rural site acquisition, and stakeholder management
• Ability to work independently and travel frequently to remote locations

What you'll do

• Collect and assess potential sites for solar hub/shop projects based on company approval criteria
• Conduct on-site visits to evaluate physical, social, and technical feasibility
• Engage with local leaders, community members, and stakeholders to understand needs and gain buy-in
• Collect site-specific data, including GPS coordinates and photographs, and document community demographics and infrastructure
• Generate detailed site validation reports highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations
