Jaza Energy is hiring Field Service Engineers (Solar Energy) to maintain and expand its solar energy hubs across Nigeria, with roles based in Anambra, Kogi, and Ondo.

What it offers

• Own and manage energy uptime, optimize system performance, troubleshoot and repair technical issues, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and reporting.
• Significant travel within Nigeria required as Jaza expands operations.

Who can apply

• Minimum 2–3 years of technical/engineering experience in telecommunications, energy, or related sectors.
• Proven expertise in installing or ensuring uptime of energy systems, ideally including both diesel and solar systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency with MS Office and Google products.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with HSE standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Required skills: Solar Design, Solar Installation, Solar Inverter Maintenance, Electrical Installation, Electrical Design.

What you'll do

• Ensure energy uptime and power availability at sites by monitoring systems and quickly diagnosing and solving technical issues.
• Support setup of new hubs, ensure connectivity, and perform routine maintenance.
• Travel to hubs or remotely troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Oversee installation and configuration of solar panels, electrical wiring, and associated equipment.
• Collaborate with teams to diagnose and resolve technical challenges.
• Document field activities and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Prepare regular reports on hub health and technical issues for the Regional Service Engineer.
