1. Purpose
These general terms and conditions of sale (the “GTCs”) govern the sale of paid subscriptions offered by MaPage on mapage.africa, namely the paid plans for the digital business card (vCard) and the Premium subscription for the Opportunities product. They apply in addition to the general terms and conditions of use.
2. Seller
The subscriptions are sold by LAWING TECH, an establishment whose headquarters are located at Lot 4F Yolomahouto, Godomey, commune of Abomey-Calavi, Atlantic department, Republic of Benin. Contact: info@mapage.africa.
3. Nature of services
The subscriptions relate to digital services. Access to paid features is granted immediately after payment confirmation. MaPage does not sell, ship, or deliver any physical goods.
4. Plans and prices
MaPage offers a free plan and a trial, as well as paid plans for the vCard and a Premium subscription for Opportunities. The applicable price, billing period (monthly or annual), and currency are displayed to you before you confirm your purchase. Prices are billed in XOF (FCFA), USD, or another currency offered at the time of payment.
5. Order and conclusion of the contract
The order is concluded when you confirm your purchase and the payment is validated by the payment provider. A summary is presented to you before confirmation.
6. Payment
Payment is made via Kkiapay or PayPal. Bank card or e-wallet data is processed directly by the payment provider and is not stored by MaPage.
7. Automatic renewal
Paid subscriptions are recurring and automatically renew at the end of each billing period using the chosen payment method, unless you cancel in advance. The applicable price and billing period are reminded to you before each renewal where required by law.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing info@mapage.africa from the address associated with your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access to paid features is retained until that date, after which the subscription is not renewed.
9. Refunds
A 14-day refund period (satisfaction or refund) applies to the first paid subscription if the service has not been substantially used during this period. No refunds are granted for renewals, for services already activated, or for accounts suspended or cancelled for non-compliance with the terms. 10. Seller stores
Transactions concluded via a seller’s WhatsApp store are not governed by these GTCs. They occur between the seller and its customers, under the sole responsibility of the seller, who uses its own merchant account or manages orders manually.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, MaPage’s liability under these subscriptions is limited to the amount paid for the relevant subscription.
12. Translations
These GTCs are available in several languages. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version shall prevail.
13. Applicable law
These GTCs are governed by the laws of the Republic of Benin, including Law No. 2017-20 establishing the Digital Code and its Book IV on e-commerce. No provision limits the mandatory consumer rights recognized under Beninese law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Beninese courts.
