WomenLift Health 2027 Nigeria Signature Leadership Journey Program for mid to senior career women

WomenLift Health’s 2027 Nigeria Leadership Journey is a fully funded, 12-month hybrid program for mid-to-senior women leaders in health++ fields, designed to deepen leadership impact through reflection, mentoring, and a global network.

What it offers

• Cost: Free (all program costs, including travel and lodging, are covered)
• Format: Hybrid (virtual and in-person)
• Total learning hours: Approximately 87 hours (inclusive of touchpoints and a Health Leadership Project)
• Effort: Approximately 4–8 hours each month
• In-person residencies:
  • Three-day Immersion (28–30 July 2027, with travel days 27 July and 31 July 2027)
  • Two-day Lift-Off (26–27 April 2028, with travel days 25 April and 28 April 2028)
• Location: In-person residencies to be communicated to selected participants

Who can apply

• Identify as a woman
• Demonstrate fluency and confidence in written and verbal English
• Be a citizen who resides and works within Nigeria
• Live in WAT (+/-1 hour) time zones for at least 75% of the program
• Be a mid-career leader with 10–25 years of work experience in health++
• Represent diverse sectors (public, private, academia, NGO, philanthropy, etc.)

What you'll do

• Participate in virtual learning touchpoints, group mentoring, and one-on-one coaching
• Complete a self-directed Health Leadership Project
• Attend mandatory in-person residencies and virtual sessions
• Engage in reflective dialogue and leadership development activities

• The letter should address:
  • Your leadership contributions
  • Your strongest personal quality
  • How the program will enhance your leadership skills
• Upload and submit your letter as part of your application by 11:59pm, September 18, 2026
• Ensure your application responses are specific, contextualized, and showcase your own thinking

• Only 30 women will be selected per cohort
