WomenLift Health 2027 Nigeria Signature Leadership Journey Program

WomenLift Health’s 2027 Nigeria Signature Leadership Journey is a fully funded, 12-month hybrid program for mid-career women leaders in health++ who are based in Nigeria. It combines virtual and in-person learning, mentoring, coaching, and a self-directed project to expand participants’ influence and health impact.

What it offers

• Fully funded: All program costs, including travel and lodging, are covered.
• Format: Hybrid (virtual and in-person).
• Effort: Approximately 4–8 hours each month.
• Total learning hours: Approximately 87 hours (including touchpoints and Health Leadership Project).
• In-person residencies:
  • Immersion: 3 days (28–30 July 2027, with travel days 27 July and 31 July 2027).
  • Lift-Off: 2 days (26–27 April 2028, with travel days 25 April and 28 April 2028).
• Location: In-person residencies will be communicated to selected participants.
• Support: Mentoring, coaching, assessments, virtual learning touchpoints, and a lifelong global network.

Who can apply

• Identify as a woman.
• Demonstrate fluency and confidence in written and verbal English, including reflective dialogue and leadership integration.
• Are a citizen who resides and works within Nigeria.
• Live in WAT (+/-1 hour) time zones for at least 75% of the program.
• Are a mid-career leader with 10–25 years of work experience in health++ (fields like climate change, food systems, education, gender equity, and technology).
• Represent diverse sectors (public, private, academia, NGO, philanthropy).

What you'll do

• Participate in two in-person experiential learning residencies (Immersion and Lift-Off).
• Engage in virtual learning touchpoints, group mentoring, and one-on-one coaching.
• Complete a self-directed Health Leadership Project.
• Join a lifelong network of allies for ongoing support and advocacy.

• Include a letter of recommendation from your supervisor (or a senior leader/health community leader if unavailable).
• The letter should address:
  • Your leadership contributions.
  • Your strongest personal quality.
  • How the Journey will enhance your leadership skills.
• Submit the letter as part of your application by 11:59pm, September 18, 2026.
