What you'll do

• Plan and optimize daily transport routes and vehicle allocation to maximize fleet efficiency
• Use Jumia’s logistics systems (e.g., TMS) to create and adjust dynamic routes based on demand, traffic, and delivery SLAs
• Publish daily and weekly capacity plans aligned with shipment volume and size mix
• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with dispatch, warehouse, and third-party logistics partners
• Track on-time delivery rates, fuel efficiency, vehicle utilization, and route adherence; recommend data-driven adjustments
• Support cost-saving initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in routing and load planning
• Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts, exceptions, and delivery escalations
