Area Collections Executive (Reliever)

Join Sun King’s Corporate Risk team in Nigeria as an Area Collections Executive (Reliever) for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Ilaro & Ifo (Ogun State). This role focuses on driving collections for PAYG solar products, improving customer repayment, and supporting field operations.

Who can apply

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Finance, Community Development, Communication, Credit Risk Management, or related fields
• At least 1 year of field experience in collections, preferably with rural customers
• Background in Microfinance, Fintech, or banking, especially in credit collections and debt recovery
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and people skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work across teams
• Knowledge of the Ilaro & Ifo territory is an advantage

What you'll do

• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly strategies to improve collection rates from delinquent customers
• Conduct market visits to assess sales quality and gather customer insights
• Provide weekly updates to Sales and Risk Management on field interventions and results
• Design and implement collection processes to enhance repayments and customer satisfaction
• Work with Area Business Managers and Field Sales Executives to repossess products when needed
• Report product tampering or fraudulent activities through established Risk team processes
• Train Field Sales Executives on repossessions and difficult customer interactions
• Recruit and set up cash collection centers in the area
