Fhemfel Homes is recruiting for a full-time Company Secretary (Lawyer) role in Abuja, Nigeria.

Who can apply

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree (LL.B.) in Law.
• Experience: 2–3 years of post-call experience in corporate/commercial law, company secretarial practice, or a related field.
• Membership: Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) membership.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA), corporate governance principles, commercial law, and regulatory compliance.
• Added advantage: Experience serving as Board Secretary or supporting Board governance activities.

What you'll do

• Serve as Secretary to the Board of Advisors and provide administrative and governance support.
• Coordinate Board and Committee meetings, including preparing meeting notices, agendas, board packs, minutes, and resolutions.
• Maintain accurate statutory registers, Board records, resolutions, and other corporate documents.
• Ensure compliance with CAMA, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and other corporate documents with relevant regulatory authorities.
• Maintain proper custody of the Company's legal documents, statutory records, and corporate seal.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive legal and Board information.
