Fhemfel Homes is seeking a Legal Company Secretary to provide governance and administrative support in Abuja.

Who can apply

• Bachelor’s degree (LL.B.) in Law.
• Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
• 2–3 years of post-call experience in corporate/commercial law, company secretarial practice, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA), corporate governance, commercial law, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience as a Board Secretary or supporting Board governance is an advantage.
• Excellent legal drafting, minute-taking, communication, and organizational skills.
• High integrity, discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.

What you'll do

• Serve as Secretary to the Board of Advisors and provide administrative and governance support.
• Coordinate Board and Committee meetings, including preparing notices, agendas, board packs, minutes, and resolutions.
• Maintain statutory registers, Board records, resolutions, and corporate documents.
• Ensure compliance with CAMA, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, memoranda, and legal documents.
• Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and proper custody of legal documents and corporate seal.
• Perform other legal, corporate governance, and Company Secretarial duties as assigned.
