The Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Eastern Africa Media Fellowship supports journalists in Eastern Africa to produce impactful stories on humanitarian crises MSF addresses. Open to accredited journalists from Kenya, Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Tanzania, the fellowship offers training, access to MSF projects, and coverage support for reporting on critical health and humanitarian issues like conflict, displacement, disease outbreaks, and malnutrition. Fellows must commit to travel and publish within fellowship timelines, with a focus on underreported crises in the region.

• Ethiopian nationals or residents may apply under Ethiopia-specific eligibility.
• South Sudanese journalists must demonstrate relevance to their audience if reporting outside their home country.
