NNPC/Chevron JV National University Scholarship Awards (Nigeria)

Chevron Nigeria Limited, in partnership with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC), offers the NNPC/Chevron JV National University Scholarship Awards to support Nigerian students in their second year of university. The programme targets full-time students admitted during the 2020/2021 academic session, covering a wide range of disciplines.

What it offers

• Financial support for tuition and related academic expenses.
• Selection based on academic merit and submitted credentials.
• No computer-based test required for selection.

Who can apply

• Full-time second-year (200 level) students in Nigerian universities admitted during the 2020/2021 academic session.
• Applicants must be studying one of the listed courses: Accountancy, Agricultural Science, Architecture, Business Administration/Economics, Computer Science, Environmental Studies/Surveying, Geology/Geophysics/Geo Informatics, Law, Mass Communication/Journalism, Engineering, Dentistry, Pharmacy, or Medicine/Surgery.
• Blind/visually impaired students in any course are also eligible with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in a 5.0 system.

How to apply

1. Register on the official platform at Scholastica.
2. Complete the application form with personal, educational, and National Identification Number (NIN) details.
3. Upload required documents: passport photograph, school ID card, admission letter, birth certificate, O’Level result, JAMB result, and Local Government Area letter of identification.
4. Ensure all uploaded documents are clear, correctly named, and verified.
5. Submit the application before the deadline and confirm via your profile.

Good to know

• Applications are free and must be submitted online only.
• Multiple applications result in automatic disqualification.
• Applicants cannot transfer the scholarship to another university or course.
• Current beneficiaries of other Chevron or NNPC scholarships are ineligible.
