NNPC/Chevron Scholarship 2026

The 2026 NNPC Limited/CNL JV National University Scholarship supports Nigerian undergraduates with strong academic records.

What it offers

• Fully funded scholarship covering tuition and related expenses.
• Applicants are not required to make any payment at any stage.

Who can apply

• Standard Eligibility Category: Full-time second-year (200 Level) students admitted in the 2024/2025 academic session, studying disciplines such as Accountancy, Engineering, Law, Medicine/Surgery, and others.
  • Must possess a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 grading scale.
  • Must have at least six O’Level credits obtained in one sitting.
• Special Needs Category: Full-time second-year (200 Level) students with visual impairment.
  • Must provide valid medical certification of visual impairment issued by a recognized medical institution or government-approved hospital.
  • Must possess a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 5.0 grading scale.
  • Must have at least five O’Level credits.

How to apply

• Applications must be submitted online via the official portal: https://candidate.scholastica.ng/schemes/2026CNLawards.
• Required documents include:
  • Passport photograph (not more than 6 months old, 450px by 450px, not more than 200kb)
  • School ID card
  • Admission Letter
  • Birth Certificate
  • O’Level Result
  • JAMB Result
  • Transcript or Signed Result for 2024/2025 session
  • Local Government Area Letter of Identification
• Steps:
  1. Register on the portal and activate your account.
  2. Complete the application form with personal, educational, and other required information.
  3. Upload the required scanned documents.
  4. Ensure the name used matches the names on all documentation.
  5. Upload a signed profile from your Head of Department.
  6. If National Identification Number (NIN) is not available, register for NIN at http://ninenrol.gov.ng and update your application with the NIN.

Good to know

• Only applications submitted via the official portal will be considered.
• Application deadline: All applications must be submitted no later than midnight, 30th June 2026.
• Multiple applications will result in automatic disqualification.
• Applicants under the Special Needs Category must provide valid medical certification.
• Applicants under this scheme are not eligible to apply for other Chevron Nigeria Limited scholarship programmes.
• Successful candidates cannot transfer the scholarship to another institution or course of study.
