NNPC/Chevron Undergraduate Scholarship for Nigerian Students 2026

The 2026 NNPC/Chevron JV National University Scholarship supports Nigerian undergraduates in accredited universities nationwide.

What it offers

• Fully funded scholarship for successful applicants.
• Selection based on academic performance and a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
• Applicants under the Special Needs (Blind/Visually Impaired) category must provide valid medical certification of visual impairment.

Who can apply

• Standard Eligibility Category: Full-time second-year (200 Level) students admitted in the 2024/2025 academic session, studying disciplines such as Accountancy, Engineering, Law, Medicine/Surgery, and more. Must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale and at least six O’Level credits obtained in one sitting.
• Special Needs Category: Full-time second-year (200 Level) students with visual impairment. Must provide valid medical certification of visual impairment, have a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 5.0 scale, and at least five O’Level credits.

What you'll do

• Participate in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) as part of the selection process.
• Ensure all submitted information is accurate, complete, and verifiable.
• Applicants found to have submitted false information or forged documents will be disqualified or have awards withdrawn.

How to apply

1. Click on "Apply Now" and register to create an account.
2. Activate your account via email and return to the application portal.
3. Enter personal information, educational details, and upload required documents:
   • Passport photograph (not more than 6 months old, 450px by 450px, not more than 200kb)
   • School ID card
   • Admission Letter
   • Birth Certificate
   • O’Level Result
   • JAMB Result
   • Transcript or Signed Result for 2024/2025 session
   • Local Government Area Letter of Identification
4. Ensure documents are named correctly and match the names on all documentation.
5. Upload a signed profile (with Head of Department’s signature) for verification.
6. If National Identification Number (NIN) was not provided initially, register for NIN at ninenrol.gov.ng and update your application with the NIN.

Good to know

• Only applications submitted via the official portal at https://candidate.scholastica.ng/schemes/2026CNLawards will be considered.
• Application deadline: All applications must be submitted no later than midnight, 30th June 2026.
• Multiple applications will result in automatic disqualification.
• Applicants under this scheme are not eligible to apply for other Chevron Nigeria Limited scholarship programmes.
• Email applications and the use of agents are not accepted.
