Chargé(e) d’Affaires Achats

CAMRAIL is recruiting a Chargé(e) d’Affaires Achats to join its team in Douala, targeting professionals with industrial procurement experience.

Who can apply

• Internal and external candidates
• BAC 3/4 in Supply Chain, Transport & Logistics, International Commerce, or similar
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in industrial procurement
• Experience in the African market or constrained logistics environments is an asset
• Railway market expertise is an asset
• Excellent French and English communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

What you'll do

• Source new suppliers and negotiate tariffs
• Ensure procurement margin and performance
• Manage industrial purchasing projects and tender follow-ups
• Handle administrative tasks: quotes, purchase orders, acknowledgments, order tracking, invoicing, and import declarations
• Manage client and commercial relations with agencies, subsidiaries, and suppliers
• Promote the central purchasing unit and develop business
• Handle disputes, delays, and quality issues
• Produce and analyze activity and service reports
