Who can apply

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate
• Tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain, or forwarding is an advantage
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in ocean freight operations (imports/exports)
• Specific, proven track record handling perishable or temperature-controlled cargo (such as fruit, food, or cold-chain goods)
• Deep understanding of perishables export/import documentation (temperature logs, bills of lading etc.)
• Knowledge of customs regulations and port/shipping line procedures
• Familiarity with International shipping terms

What you'll do

• Set and verify exact container temperatures, humidity levels, and ventilation settings
• Secure functional refrigerated containers and generator sets (gensets) from carriers
• Track vessel ETAs and port cut-offs to prevent spoilage or missed sailings
