Reefer Supervisor role overseeing refrigerated container operations in Cape Town’s Maitland container park.

• Contractor position supervising the Reefer Bay in a busy container park.

Who can apply

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification required.
• Relevant technical qualification in Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning, Electrical or a related field is highly advantageous.
• Previous supervisory experience in a reefer, refrigeration, container depot, logistics or similar environment is essential.
• Practical experience with refrigerated shipping containers is highly advantageous.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily operations of the Reefer Bay.
• Supervise Reefer Bay personnel.
• Ensure strong understanding of reefer refrigeration systems, temperature control and set points.
• Supervise technical and operational personnel.
• Apply preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain good reporting and administrative skills.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
