What you'll do

• Manage the full accounting function for multiple companies up to trial balance.
• Process and reconcile cash books, debtors, and creditors.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation.
• Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and fixed asset registers.
• Prepare and submit VAT calculations and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
• Prepare management reports and financial schedules.
• Assist with annual audits and provide supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
• Liaise with internal departments, auditors, suppliers, and customers.
• Perform any other accounting duties as assigned.
• Use Sage Evolution.
