Accountant

TakeLA Group Pty Ltd is seeking an Accountant to maintain financial records and support month-end processes in Johannesburg, South Africa.

What it offers

• Responsibilities include cost allocation, general ledger reconciliations, creditors account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes

Who can apply

• College diploma or above in finance, accounting, or related fields
• Preference for South African Certified Public Accountant (SAICA or equivalent) qualifications
• At least 2 years of practical experience in financial management or related fields
• Solid knowledge of finance, taxation, auditing, and internal control
• Familiarity with South African financial laws and regulations, IFRS standards, and local tax laws
• Proficiency in mainstream financial systems (e.g., SAP/Sage) and office software
• Legal status in South Africa (long-term visa/PR) and a valid driver’s license
• Ability to adapt to the local work environment
• Strong professional ethics, stress resistance, and cross-departmental communication skills
