Chief of Staff - Ethiopia

One Acre Fund seeks a Chief of Staff to partner with the Country Director in Ethiopia, leading enabling functions and cross-functional initiatives to strengthen program delivery.

What it offers

• Leadership of People Operations, HSS, and Communications teams, plus high-priority initiatives

Who can apply

• 7+ years in strategy or people management, including 3+ years managing teams
• Fluency in English; Amharic preferred
• Experience with cross-team workstreams, compliance, and financial fluency (budgets, dashboards)
• Familiarity with Ethiopia labor laws and donor-facing compliance
• Preferred: 2+ years managing Health, Safety, and Security

What you'll do

• Manage People Operations, HSS, and Communications teams to ensure strong delivery, compliance, and staff experience
• Lead cross-functional initiatives (e.g., regulatory studies, pilot projects, organizational change)
• Support Country Director with OKR cycles, briefs, and internal reviews
• Strengthen DEI priorities, staff development, and organizational culture
