Ethiopia Chief of Staff – One Acre Fund

One Acre Fund seeks an Ethiopia Chief of Staff to partner with the Country Director in Addis Ababa or Bahir Dar, overseeing enabling functions and cross-functional initiatives.

Who can apply

• 7+ years in strategy or people management, including 3+ years managing teams
• Fluency in English; Amharic preferred
• Experience leading cross-team workstreams or systems
• Familiarity with Ethiopia labor laws and donor-facing compliance expectations
• Financial fluency with budgets, salary modeling, and performance dashboards
• Preferred: 2+ years managing Health, Safety, and Security

What you'll do

• Lead People Operations, HSS, and Communications teams
• Manage HR admin, compliance, and Corporate Operations
• Strengthen organizational culture, DEI priorities, and staff experience
• Co-lead OKR cycles, business reviews, and cross-team planning
• Lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives with defined scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics
• Draft briefs and support Country Director decision-making
