Horticulturist / Gardener – Uganda is a full-time role based in Uganda that closes on 2026-08-21.

What you'll do

• Plant Maintenance & Care
  • Plant, water, prune, fertilize, and maintain flowers, trees, shrubs, and lawns.
  • Monitor plant health and address diseases, nutrient deficiencies, or pest infestations.
  • Perform grounds maintenance: mowing lawns, trimming hedges, edging walkways, weeding, and mulching.
  • Conduct seasonal planting and ensure regular watering, especially during hot and dry seasons.
• Landscaping & Beautification
  • Assist in landscape design and installation, including new plantings, erosion control, and beautification initiatives.
  • Plan and implement garden layouts to enhance aesthetic appeal.
  • Maintain garden beds, borders, and outdoor areas to ensure neatness and visual appeal.
• Pest & Disease Management
  • Control weeds and pests using appropriate methods and products.
  • Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides safely and in accordance with environmental regulations.
