Who can apply

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or Master’s is highly preferred
• Experience: 10–15 years in freight forwarding/shipping/logistics, including at least 5 years in a senior management role with P&L responsibility
• Location: Applicant must be in Uganda
• Language: English

What you'll do

• Develop and execute a country-specific business plan; identify new opportunities in air, sea, road freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and distribution
• Oversee import/export, customs brokerage, cargo consolidation, last-mile delivery, fleet scheduling, maintenance, and route optimization
• Manage Uganda P&L, cash flow, credit control, debtor collections, and vendor negotiations
• Lead a cross-functional team (operations, sales, customer service, finance, administration) and build local talent
• Ensure 100% compliance with Ugandan customs, tax, labour laws, and company policies; liaise with URA, UCAA, and port authorities
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, agents, and partners; represent the company at industry events
