Senior Coordinator, GIS / Data Analyst (Gombe)

eHealth Africa seeks a Senior Coordinator to lead geospatial strategy and data systems in Gombe State, ensuring GIS capabilities drive public health decision-making.

Who can apply

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Data Science, Public Health, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant GIS experience, preferably in the NGO or development sector
• Familiarity with ArcGIS Online, Power BI, GPS tools (ODK, Kobo), and spatial databases
• Advanced knowledge of GIS surveying equipment and hardware
• ACAP or GISP Certification or equivalent is a plus

What you'll do

• Develop organizational spatial strategies, data standards, and geospatial system architecture
• Manage GIS service delivery across programs, ensuring quality and meaningful insights
• Translate complex spatial data into actionable insights for stakeholders and decision-makers
• Collaborate with IT, M&E, and research teams to align GIS with analytics platforms
• Implement and manage GIS dashboards, mobile tools, and digital platforms
• Ensure adherence to geospatial metadata standards, version control, and data governance
• Monitor GIS tool impact and refine methodologies based on performance metrics
• Design advanced geospatial analyses (e.g., service coverage assessments, catchment modeling)
• Advise program teams on geospatial tool integration and donor compliance
