Senior Coordinator, GIS / Data Analyst

eHealth Africa seeks a Senior Coordinator to lead geospatial strategy and data systems in Kwara State, translating complex spatial insights into actionable public-health decisions.

Who can apply

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Data Science, Public Health, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 3–5 years applying GIS to real-world programs in a data-driven environment, preferably in the NGO or development sector
• Familiarity with ArcGIS Online, Power BI, GPS tools (ODK, Kobo), and spatial databases
• Advanced GIS equipment operation (hardware, plotter/printer, GPS)
• ACAP or GISP Certification or equivalent is a plus

What you'll do

• Develop organizational spatial strategies and geospatial data governance
• Manage GIS service delivery across programs, ensuring quality and consistency
• Translate spatial data into actionable insights for stakeholders and donors
• Collaborate with IT, M&E, and research teams to align GIS with analytics platforms
• Implement and refine GIS dashboards and digital tools
• Ensure adherence to geospatial metadata standards and ethical data-sharing practices
• Monitor GIS tool impact and refine methodologies based on performance metrics
