African Leadership Academy (ALA) offers a two-year diploma program with significant financial assistance to admitted students from any background or nationality.

What it offers

• Significant financial assistance to every admitted student, with 97% of ALA students receiving aid.
• All-inclusive fees covering tuition, accommodation, meals, and uniforms, totaling $30,900 per year.
• Financial awards are determined after admission and based on a family’s financial means, with more support for financially disadvantaged backgrounds.

Who can apply

• Applicants must have been born on or after September 1, 2007.
• ALA seeks young individuals with intellectual readiness, courage, perseverance, ownership, and interdependence.
• No single factor, except age, will exclude candidates.

How to apply

• Submit an application for the Class of 2027.
• Applications open on July 15, 2026.
• Early Decision deadline: October 15, 2026.
• Regular Decision deadline: January 15, 2027.
• Early Decision applicants receive results earlier, but both deadlines guarantee consideration.
