African Leadership Academy Program 2027

African Leadership Academy (ALA) is seeking the next generation of African leaders for its two-year diploma program, targeting young people who combine academic ability with initiative, courage, and a commitment to positive change on the continent.

What it offers

• A two-year diploma program delivered at ALA’s campus.
• All-inclusive fees covering tuition, accommodation, meals, and uniforms at $30,900 per year.
• 97% of admitted students receive significant financial assistance; awards are determined after admission and scaled to family means.

Who can apply

• Applicants must have been born on or after September 1, 2007.
• Selection is holistic, focusing on intellectual readiness, courage, perseverance, ownership, and interdependence; academic excellence alone is not required.

How to apply

• Submit an application for the Class of 2027.
• Early Decision deadline: October 15, 2026.
• Regular Decision deadline: January 15, 2027.
• Early Decision applicants receive results in January 2027; Regular Decision results are released in April 2027.
