Blow Moulding Maintenance Engineer

Blow Moulding Maintenance Engineer in Nigeria performing scheduled and breakdown maintenance on blow moulding machines and auxiliary systems under the direction of an expatriate engineer.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive maintenance on blow moulding machines (CMP 0.5L to Jagmohan 100L) following prescribed schedules and checklists.
• Assist in breakdown diagnosis and execute corrective maintenance actions under instruction; escalate faults promptly when beyond assigned scope.
• Perform routine servicing on hydraulic and pneumatic systems: oil level checks, filter changes, seal replacements, solenoid valve cleaning, air line maintenance; report abnormalities.
• Maintain and service automated deflashing systems: check mechanical alignment, pneumatic actuators, and trimming blades; report deflash quality issues immediately.
• Carry out electrical maintenance tasks: sensor replacements, heater band changes, thermocouple replacements, proximity switch adjustments, control panel cleaning; avoid unauthorised access to PLC or drive configurations.
• Service and maintain auxiliary equipment: air compressors, chiller systems, conveyor belts, cooling water circuits.
