Rockefeller Foundation-Acumen Food Systems Fellowship for Africans

The Rockefeller Foundation-Acumen Food Systems Fellowship is a one-year leadership development program for experienced food systems builders who want to drive systemic change.

What it offers

• A one-year program combining immersive seminars, workshops, and self-directed leadership experiments

Who can apply

• Individuals with at least five years working in food systems
• Those in leadership roles in organizations or initiatives committed to food systems work
• Candidates from these trajectories: social entrepreneurs, social intrapreneurs, organizational builders, public sector leaders, or bridge builders
• No specific academic qualifications or age requirements

What you'll do

• Examine personal values and choices shaping your food systems work
• Develop systems leadership skills through frameworks like Adaptive Leadership and Systems Thinking
• Lead diverse stakeholders through complex food systems challenges
• Apply learning to real-world initiatives while remaining in your current role

How to apply

• Apply: Submit your food systems journey and vision by 1 December 2022
• Complete Assignments: 2–15 January 2023
• Attend Selection Conference: 11–12 March 2023
• Fellowship begins April 2023 and runs to November 2023
