Chargé de suivi-évaluation de projets (H/F)

The IECD Cameroon is hiring a Chargé de suivi-évaluation de projets (H/F) in Douala to oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting for their ongoing and new projects across Cameroon. This role focuses on improving Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (M&E) systems, ensuring data quality, and supporting funding applications. The position is a one-year contract (renewable), with a focus on collaboration with local and international teams, and involves short trips to Yaoundé and Dschang. This is a full-time job in Douala, Cameroon, under the Director of Country and Regional M&E Coordinator. The role involves coordinating data collection, analyzing project outcomes, improving M&E tools, and supporting fundraising efforts. You will work closely with project teams, partners, and international coordinators to enhance data quality, reporting, and impact assessment. Who can apply

This position is open to candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher (Bac +5) in project management or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in M&E, data management, or project coordination. Fluency in French is mandatory; English is a plus. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Salesforce, and experience with public funding mechanisms are required.

What you'll do

• Data Collection & Analysis: Oversee data gathering, validation, and reporting for all IECD projects in Cameroon, ensuring alignment with project goals and indicators.
• M&E Tool Development: Assist in designing logframes, indicators, and data collection tools for new projects, and improve existing ones for better accuracy.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work with project teams, partners, and donors to ensure M&E practices are inclusive and effective, including training on tools like Salesforce and CRM systems.
• Reporting & Fundraising Support: Prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders, including visual and written summaries, to support funding applications and strategic planning.
• Capacity Building: Develop training programs for IECD staff and partners on M&E methodologies, ensuring consistent data quality and impact measurement.
