Jones and Wagener Bursary 2027

Jones & Wagener’s bursary programme supports South African students pursuing BEng/BSc degrees in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geochemistry or Environmental studies at South African universities.

What it offers

• Covers at least university tuition fees
• May include accommodation and a limited textbook allowance

Who can apply

• South African citizens studying or intending to study the specified degrees
• Current tertiary students and Grade 12 scholars
• Applicants must have achieved at least 75% in both Mathematics and Physical Science

What you'll do

• Complete six weeks of paid vacation work at Jones & Wagener offices in Rivonia or Centurion during the July and/or December recess
• After graduation, work for Jones & Wagener for a period equal to the duration of the bursary

How to apply

• Submit an online application form
• Provide:
  • Personal details including ID number and a photograph
  • Academic records
  • Digital copies of ID, CV, academic records and a recent colour photograph
• Ensure the form is fully completed and legible
• Applications close on 31 July

• Bursaries aim to reflect South Africa’s population composition in line with Black Economic Empowerment
• Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by 31 October
