Solidarités International is seeking a Deputy Country Director for Programs (DCDP) to lead strategic programming in Pemba, Mozambique, for a 6-month mission starting ASAP. This role focuses on managing program development, ensuring accountability, and adapting to conflict-sensitive needs in the water, sanitation, and food security sectors. The position operates in a high-security and administrative challenge environment, with a focus on WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) sector needs in Cabo Delgado province, where over 700,000 people have been displaced due to armed conflict and cyclones.
The Deputy CD will collaborate with the Country Director to align programs with evidence-based needs, monitor activities closely, and ensure resources are appropriately allocated. The role emphasizes leadership in humanitarian aid, particularly in emergency response and long-term resilience-building in Mozambique’s crisis-affected regions.
