SESAME Higher Education Scholarship and Support Programme

SESAME Higher Education Scholarship and Support Programme is a preparatory and monitoring initiative supporting motivated bachelor-level students facing material or personal challenges in Madagascar. It provides a Preparatory Year (PY) at a campus in Antananarivo, combining education, remediation, and personal development. After completing the PY, students present a life plan and take exams. 100% of PY graduates from the first three years successfully transitioned to reputable higher education institutions. During their studies, students receive scholarships covering tuition fees, live in boarding accommodation, and benefit from personalized guidance and monitoring by reference educators. The programme also includes a School and Career Guidance (OSP) project to improve access to higher education for high school students through training and manuals for career counsellors, aiming to scale guidance from secondary to tertiary education.
