Who can apply

Alternatively, applicants without an honours degree may apply via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), submitting a portfolio of relevant work and research experience in the field.

How to apply

1. Apply for a UNISA student number (deadline: 20 November 2026 for 2027 intake).
2. Pay the non-refundable R160 application fee and submit proof of payment to susdepid@unisa.ac.za using the student number and fee reference.
3. Submit supporting documents (see documents field) within 10 working days of receiving the student number. Failure to comply results in application decline.
4. Complete the online admission application and upload all documents during the application period (1 September–20 November 2026).
5. Register online only if your application is approved and you meet registration criteria (e.g., no outstanding fees, no library blocks).
