The 2026 Workshop Engineer Development Programme by Julius Berger Nigeria is designed to build local engineering capacity by training future Workshop Supervisors and Managers. Participants will support technical and quality-related aspects of repair, service, and maintenance activities while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Who can apply

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in maintenance, repairs, fleet management, or engineering support.
• A written recommendation letter from a current Supervisor or Manager.

What you'll do

• Review work orders and identify repair methods, tools, and materials.
• Assist in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and alternative technical solutions.
• Conduct inspections to ensure repair quality, functionality, and safety.
• Document inspection results, measurements, and quality findings.
• Report deviations, failures, or non-conformities and contribute to corrective measures.
• Support the implementation of Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM).
• Provide technical guidance to mechanics, electricians, and technicians.
• Enforce workshop standards, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
