Accountant

This full-time Accountant role is based in Nigeria and requires a minimum of an OND in accounting or finance, along with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience. The position involves bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, petty cash management, invoicing, payroll support, tax compliance, and financial reporting.

What you'll do

• Maintain daily financial records and post ledger entries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and verify transaction details.
• Oversee petty cash disbursements and reconcile physical balances.
• Prepare customer invoices, track outstanding balances, and process vendor payments.
• Assist in compiling payroll data and preparing payroll schedules.
• Support the preparation and filing of statutory remittances (PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pension).
• Assist in preparing trial balances, monthly management accounts, and audit documents.
