Gain hands-on experience with GIZ Kenya’s Portfolio Management team through a structured six-month internship in Nairobi.

• Support to the communications desk (editing articles, writing meeting minutes) and the relocations desk (administrative tasks and government office visits)
• Opportunity to learn about other country office functions and project implementation through observation (Hospitation)

Who can apply

• Applicants with a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written
• Good computer skills with standard Microsoft software applications
• Self-motivated and well-organized team player
• German language skills are an added value

What you'll do

• Gain insight into the daily work of the Portfolio Management Team GIZ Kenya
• Prepare and participate in meetings
• Support two Portfolio Managers and team members in Communication, Gender/Do no Harm/Inclusion, and Relocation
• Edit articles and write meeting minutes for the communications desk
• Perform administrative tasks and follow relocation processes with government offices
• Observe other areas of responsibility in the country office and projects (Hospitation)
