The Global Leadership Training Programme for Sustainable Development in Africa is an intensive online certificate course for postgraduate students interested in Africa’s sustainable development. It offers lectures, workshops, and networking with African leaders across multiple disciplines.

What it offers

• An online certificate upon successful completion.
• Cost: 50,000 JPY.
• Duration: 4 weeks.
• Sessions conducted in English.
• Lectures, workshops, and resources from scholars and practitioners in fields such as health, education, technology, environmental studies, governance, law, and human rights.

Who can apply

• Postgraduate students enrolled in master’s and doctoral programmes.
• Applicants must have an interest in international cooperation and the SDGs in Africa.

What you'll do

• Engage with African leaders across disciplines to learn leadership skills and strategies for sustainable development initiatives.
• Build a network of Asian and African development practitioners for collaboration on SDGs and research priorities.
• Discuss best practices in governance, community mobilization, public management, and social innovation.
• Develop agenda-setting, strategic planning, and community engagement skills.
