Who can apply
- Medical or paramedical degree mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of MSF international experience in different operational contexts
- Minimum 1 year experience as Medical Coordinator with MSF mandatory
- Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken, mandatory
- Degree in Public Health or Epidemiology and/or basic knowledge of Humanitarian law is an asset
- Experience in hospital management, epidemics, public health, nutrition, IDPs, refugees, and emergency responses is an asset
What you'll do
- Co-define and co-design the Medical Operations strategy with medical coordination teams
- Ensure comprehensive monitoring and follow-up of medical strategy implementation across MSF operations
- Oversee medical resources, policies, and guidelines to ensure relevance and availability
- Guide medical teams in implementing Quality of Care standards and improvement plans
- Monitor and analyze medical activities to support data-driven decision-making
- Propose improvements to management and tracking tools
- Oversee medical stock strategy, including emergency preparedness
- Plan and manage human resources and budgets in collaboration with the Deputy Cell Operations Coordinator
- Provide medical support and guidance during emergency responses
- Update and adapt Emergency Preparedness and Response strategies
- Review and validate health policies for International Mobile Staff and Country Based Staff
- Facilitate communication and coordination between medical project teams and the medical department
