Medical Officer

This full-time role in Kenya is open to qualified medical doctors who can provide first-on-call care, manage patients, and support community outreach.

Who can apply

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from an institution recognized by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council
• Registration Certificate by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council
• Valid practicing license from Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council
• Training in Basic Life Support (BLS)

What you'll do

• Undertake first-on-call duties, including clerking, investigating, and managing patients
• Review patients and document recommendations accurately
• Conduct outpatient clinics and assist in theatre procedures
• Perform emergency surgeries and life-saving interventions
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Carry out medical examinations and prepare detailed medical reports
• Participate in outreach programs and community health initiatives
• Ensure accurate data collection and reporting
• Manage medicines, medical instruments, and equipment
• Provide health education
• Perform any other duties as assigned
