Who can apply

• Nationality: Cameroonian
• Moral character: Good standing
• Height: ≥1.55 m (women) / ≥1.65 m (men)
• Health: Physically fit, no long-duration illness
• Age limits (as of 1 Jan 2026):
  • Administrateurs & Intendants: ≤30 years (born 1 Jan 1996–1 Jan 2009)
  • Gardiens-Chefs: ≤28 years (born 1 Jan 1998–1 Jan 2009)
  • Gardiens: ≤27 years (born 1 Jan 1999–1 Jan 2009)
• Functionary rule: Not already a prison-administration functionary (for A, B, C)

What you'll do

• Preselection (5–8 Oct 2026): medical exam + physical tests
  • 100 m sprint
  • 1 000 m (women) / 1 500 m (men) endurance
  • “V”-shape muscular endurance
• Written exams (10–11 Oct 2026) by cadre:
  • Administrateurs & Intendants: Culture générale (coeff 4), Administration pénitentiaire (3), Droit public/privé (3)
  • Gardiens-Chefs: Rédaction/Essay (4), Éducation à la Citoyenneté (3), Administration pénitentiaire (3), Maths (2)
  • Gardiens: Étude de texte (4), Éducation à la Citoyenneté (3), Administration pénitentiaire (3), Maths (2)
• Oral interview (after written pass) for Administrateurs & Intendants only, in French and English
