Emeris Scholarships 2027

Emeris Scholarships support South African students who demonstrate strong academic merit to access private higher education.

What it offers

• Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit to nurture future leaders and thinkers.
• They provide access to quality private higher education that may otherwise be unaffordable.

Who can apply

• Only South African citizens are eligible.
• Undergraduate applicants must have achieved a minimum average of 75% in Grade 11 and submit their final Grade 11 year-end report or final National Senior Certificate (NSC) results.
• Postgraduate applicants must have achieved a minimum average of 75% in the final year of their undergraduate qualification; current final-year students are assessed based on academic performance at the end of semester 1.

How to apply

• Applicants must first apply and pay the application fee to study at Emeris.
• During the scholarship application, enter your unique Application Number (e.g., AP1234567) as issued during the Emeris application.
• Submit a copy of required academic transcripts and a 1-page motivational letter.
• Applications without proof of academic achievement and the motivational letter will be disqualified.
• Apply between 5 May and 30 September 2026.

Good to know

• Successful applicants will be selected and notified during October 2026.
• Scholarship recipients must confirm acceptance and complete the admissions process by the deadlines in their offer letters.
• Recipients must meet entrance criteria for their selected qualification to finalise registration.
