External Examiner (Islamic Studies)

Iconic Open University seeks experienced academics to serve as External Examiners and Project/Dissertation/Thesis Co-Supervisors for its programmes, including Islamic Studies.

Who can apply

• Must hold a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies or a closely related field from an accredited institution
• Must be at the rank of Senior Lecturer or higher (Reader or Professor preferred)
• Must have relevant expertise in Islamic Studies and a track record of research publications in peer-reviewed journals
• Must be independent of Iconic Open University (no recent employment, close relationships, or conflicts of interest within the last three years or five years if a former student)

What you'll do

• Serve as an External Examiner or Project Co-Supervisor for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
• Conduct academic quality assurance and assessment duties as specified in the terms of reference
