External Examiner (Educational Management)

Iconic Open University is seeking experienced academics to serve as External Examiners and Project/Dissertation/Thesis Co-Supervisors for its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with a focus on maintaining academic quality and integrity.

What it offers

Who can apply

• Must hold a minimum rank of Senior Lecturer; Reader or Professor preferred, especially for postgraduate supervision
• Must possess a Ph.D. in their field of expertise from an accredited institution
• Must have relevant expertise in their specialization
• Must demonstrate prior experience as an external examiner at recognized tertiary institutions (preferred)
• Must have a track record of postgraduate supervision and research publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals
• Must be independent of Iconic Open University and free from conflicts of interest

• Serve as an External Examiner or Project/Dissertation/Thesis Co-Supervisor
• Engage in specified duties and roles that may change over time

  • Evidence of prior external examining experience (where applicable)
  • Contact details for at least two academic referees
  • Last appointment/promotion letter in an academic position
