The Government of Kenya’s Presidential Digital Talent Programme (Cohort XI) prepares young ICT graduates for industry roles through workplace experience, mentorship, and professional networks.

What it offers

Who can apply

• Kenyan youth aged 21–29 and unemployed
• Recent graduates with First Class or Second Class Honours – Upper Division (or equivalent) from a recognized institution within the last two years (from Jan 2024)
• Final-year students awaiting graduation by Dec 2026 must provide a signed/stamped recommendation letter from their university confirming the expected honours
• Degree in BSc. ICT or Engineering (Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication, Systems/Software, Security)
• Must demonstrate technical competencies in core areas prior to interview
• Must not have previously undertaken a Government of Kenya internship programme

What you'll do

• Be ready for full-time deployment (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) in any Ministry, Department, or Agency (MCDA) across Kenya
• Females, persons with disability, and graduates from ASAL regions are highly encouraged to apply

• Submit correct information; false/misleading information may result in a fine up to Kshs. 200,000 or imprisonment up to 2 years
• Attach required documents:
  • Copies of National ID card/Passport, KCSE certificate, Degree Certificate or Recommendation/Reference letter, and Passport Size Photo
  • For foreign degrees: KNQA verification certificates and official translation from the Embassy
  • For qualifications using GPA: attach the corresponding Kenyan public university GPA equivalent
  • If degree certificate not yet collected: attach a Dean-signed/stamped letter indicating First/Upper Second-Class Honours to be awarded
• Only applications submitted within 21 days from the advertise date will be accepted
