PDTP – Call for Applications COHORT XI Open

PDTP DigiTalent – Cohort XI is a Kenyan government initiative to upskill ICT graduates for industry roles through mentorship, workplace experience, and professional networks.

What it offers

• Workplace experience, mentorship, and professional networking in ICT and related sectors.
• Deployment across 47 counties in Ministry, Department, and Agencies (MCDA) full-time (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).

Who can apply

• Kenyan youth aged 21–29 years, unemployed.
• Recent ICT graduates with First Class or Second Class Honours – Upper Division (or equivalent) from a recognized institution within the last two years (from Jan 2024).
• Final-year students awaiting graduation by Dec 2026 may apply with a signed/stamped university recommendation letter confirming expected First or Upper Second-Class Honours.
• Degree in BSc. ICT or Engineering (Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication, Systems/Software, Security).
• Must not have previously undertaken a Government of Kenya internship program.

How to apply

• Attach required documents:
  • National ID card/Passport copy
  • KCSE certificate
  • Degree certificate or recommendation/reference letter
  • Passport-size photo
• For foreign degrees: attach KNQA verification certificate and official translation from the Embassy; include Kenyan public university GPA equivalent if applicable.
• Applications must be submitted within 21 days from advertise date.
• False/misleading information may result in a fine up to Kshs. 200,000 or imprisonment up to 2 years.
