What you'll do

• Redesign production systems, workflows, and layouts to improve capacity, quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Lead mechanisation, automation, installation, commissioning, and optimisation of production equipment.
• Implement lean manufacturing, process optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish preventive maintenance programmes and reduce machine downtime.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities (e.g., CNC routers, laser cutting, 3D printing).
• Develop and enforce production quality standards and standard operating procedures.
• Assess and upgrade factory infrastructure (electrical, mechanical, utilities).
• Manage projects, budgets, timelines, and contractor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
• Train and develop technical teams to build internal capability.
