Tupande seeks a hands-on Engineering & Maintenance Lead to build and run factory maintenance systems across three Soko processing sites in Kenya, aiming to cut downtime and shift maintenance from reactive to planned.

What you'll do

• Build and own the maintenance management system.
• Implement the CMMS; own equipment hierarchy, preventive maintenance (PM) job plans, and work order lifecycle.
• Design and standardize PM schedules for all critical equipment.
• Own the cross-factory spare parts strategy: set minimum stock levels, manage replenishment, and prevent stockouts on critical items.
• Establish root cause analysis (RCA) processes for major failures; track corrective actions to closure and use findings to improve PM plans.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment failures directly.
