Cisco Bursary Programme 2027

The Cisco Charitable Foundation Trust South Africa Bursary Programme 2027 supports South African students pursuing IT-related degrees by covering study costs and providing mentorship.

What it offers

• Financial support for tuition and related expenses
• Student mentorship and talent development

Who can apply

• South African citizens
• Students in first to fourth year in 2027 studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Information Technology (including B Tech and Honours programmes)
• Students accepted or registered at public or private institutions registered with the Department of Education
• Applicants with a combined family income of R350,000 to R600,000 per year (“missing middle”)
• Preference given to equity students

How to apply

• Submit an application via StudyTrust’s online platform before 30 September
• Upload the following documents:
  • Certified copy of ID
  • Proof of all academic results (Grade 12 certificate and full tertiary academic record)
  • Proof of combined household income
• Applications are automatically considered for all other StudyTrust-managed bursaries for which you qualify

• Applications open 1 June and close 30 September each year
