Griller Chef

Griller Chef at Bright Placements is a full-time role in South Africa for an experienced grill specialist who will prepare and cook premium grilled dishes while upholding strict hygiene and food-safety standards in a 4- or 5-star hospitality setting.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook beef, poultry, fish and other grilled items according to company recipes and standards
• Ensure correct cooking methods and temperatures for all meat products
• Maintain consistent portion sizes, presentation, and quality
• Prepare vegetables and accompaniments for the grill section while minimizing wastage
• Ensure dishes are served promptly and meet quality standards
• Identify and understand different cuts of beef, poultry, and fish
• Portion, trim, clean, marinate, and store meat according to food safety regulations
• Label, date, rotate (FIFO), and store all meat products correctly
