Blue Ambition Fund 2026

Blue Ambition Fund 2026 offers grants to non-profit organisations and social enterprises in Uganda, Ethiopia and South-Africa that support youth employment and sustainable job creation through SMEs.

What it offers

• Funding to support Small and Growing Businesses to increase productivity and create dignified job opportunities.
• Support for short-term skilling (technical, soft skills and/or coaching) for youth and women, in collaboration with the private sector.

Who can apply

• Non-profit organisations and social enterprises.
• Organisations based in Uganda, Ethiopia and South-Africa.
• Organisations whose strategies align with the Blue Ambition Fund’s mission.

How to apply

• Fill out the form for organisational details.
• Write a concept note of not more than 1500 words.
• Submit both the form and the concept note to marit@wildeganzen.nl and esly@wildeganzen.nl before 15 August 2026.

Good to know

• Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis from July to August.
• Shortlisted organisations will be announced on 1 September 2026.
• Shortlisted organisations will be requested to share their most recent annual report including financials, to be invited for a short video call and to submit a complete application including a due diligence assessment from September to October.
• Contracts will be signed and funding will start from November to January.
